Is it all data and spreadsheets?
Our Supply Chain department is structured into three core processes: Planning, logistics, and retail allocation/inventory management. These core processes are built on a fourth support process we call tech and analytics, as everything we do in Supply Chain comes down to technology and data. These core processes lead to many different tasks, which can include:
- Ensuring efficient inventories and product availability
- Long-term supply and capacity planning
- Following up on P2P processes
- Optimizing service level for end consumers and stores logistically
- Forecasting demand for product and logistics purposes
- Monitorization of performance
- Ensuring optimal data flow of orders etc. through systems
- Optimizing product portfolio to ensure newness whilst reducing waste
- And many more exciting tasks!
The overarching purpose of our Supply Chain is to balance supply with demand to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. To secure this a lot of cross-functional communication is necessary, and therefore, we work closely together with other departments to understand their directions and actions – especially with Research & Development, Production, and Finance. A cross-functional understanding of both products, production, and budgets from our side, will ultimately lead to a better customer experience, as we will then have a better foundation for securing e.g. efficient inventories online and in our stores.

Supply Chain is not all data and spreadsheets. We actually have an internal “Supply Chain Party Committee” planning social get-togethers each month 🥳
